A friend of mine knows of a restaurant in the Wynwood area that is interested in coming to the Grove. It would fit right in, it's something we don't have here.
After approaching a few people who might be interested he went to a local landlord to see about having someone contact the restaurant owner. I stayed outside while he went in to talk to the leasing office. He entered and their first response was, "How did you find us? Who sent you here?"
This is the reaction he got for wanting to send them a willing tenant. He ended up explaining it all, as if he was on the stand in court, he left all the info and the restaurant still has not heard from them. This was a month or more ago.
Strange.
