The Commodore's Birthday Party is the biggest event of the year for The Barnacle Society. Held at The Barnacle, 3485 Main Highway, it not only celebrates the Commodore, but raises money for the state park as proceeds are designated for the restoration and maintenance of the house. The party is Saturday, March 31 from 6 to 9 pm.
A Buffet Supper will be catered by The Rumcake Factory, voted in the Miami New Times as "Best of Miami" Caterer in 2011. Live entertainment will be provided by the Grove's own Solar Dogs.
There is also a Silent Auction.
