The Great Taste of the Grove Food & Wine Festival is back this year. As usual, Peacock Park is the venue. The event is being held Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15.The annual "Best of the Taste" awards will be given to participating restaurants based on outstanding taste and presentation and will be voted on by local dignitaries. The "Sommelier Tasting Grove" and "Connoisseur Spirits Lounge" are back, providing guests with an opportunity to taste the best wines and spirits on the market. The Eco-Education Lounge is also back. And expanded this year is the Kids' Adventure Park with zip-lining, Ferris wheel and more fun things for the kiddies to enjoy. There will be live music on Saturday and Sunday.
New this year is a $5 entry fee (children under 12 are free). Food and beverages are available at the event costing between $1 and $8. The Great Taste of the Grove is open 11 am to 7 pm both days.
