Grove Art Stroll this weekend

Over 40 local and international artists will be participating at this Saturday's Coconut Grove Art Stroll at the promenade at Mayfair.

Festivities will include Japanese dance performances by Etnia Fusion featuring guest martial artist Punong Guro Ken DeJesus; the show will be a signature fusion of Japanese Odori dance, martial art choreography and weaponry. It will include the use of traditional implements like the fan and sakura blossoms.

Free samples will be distributed by Kilo Kia Rum, Aalchemia Vodka, Don Eduardo Tequila, Presidente Imported Beer, Nestea, and Los Ranchos.

Captain Art, popular art teacher, in his red, white and blue super art costome, will assist the kids while they paint and draw in the art area.

This free public event offers a cultural and entertaining alternative for the entire family. Johnny Valdes, Director of Coconut Grove Art Stroll and owner of two galleries in CocoWalk, invites you to “come and be part of the reemergence of Coconut Grove as an artistic Mecca and the premier spot for cultural events.”
