At last week's meeting, the City Commission agreed to have a special meeting on Friday, September 4, to reappoint Commissioner Tomás Regalado to his Commission seat.
He is to step down that day, because he is running for mayor in the November election. The seat would have remained empty for quite awhile and in the name of continuity, the Commission agreed that at 10:00 am on September 4, the Commission will meet briefly to reappoint Regalado to his seat.
