The former location of Cielo was the venue for the Captains Meeting last night, a last minute get together/pep rally for Sunday's Great Grove Bed Race. We didn't realize the place was so cavernous. Last time we were there for an event was casino night, almost a year ago.
Daisy Lewis, center, conducted the evening, giving instructions, playing games and pepping up the bed race teams.
Roger Chai-onn from the FastSigns team, Ron Jakubisin from Mayfair team and Joe Fadel from the Puff Dragon Boat team were all smiles at the bar (no liquor, only the bar).
Officer Joe Guell, part of the Police department's Grove Five-O team with Love Levy and David Chaney with The Grove Spot team.
