The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days in the San Francisco Bay Area. On Oct 1 to 3, shown here from left, Jennifer Zawislak, Nishali Amin and Laura Neiman, three Grovites, will participate.The ladies are currently training and raising funds. There is a fundraiser at Chicago's (3120 Commodore Plaza) this Saturday, February 20 from 7 to 10 pm, to help them achieve their $6,900 fundraising goal. There will be a $10 donation (entry fee) with all proceeds going towards the walk.
Chicago's is offering half priced appetizers and drink specials and there are raffle items donated by local Coconut Grove businesses.
