Good to see that the City has formed a committee to discuss the last-call, bar closing times.
On the committee are Miami Police Commander Jorge Colina, attorney Tucker Gibbs, Lourdes Slazyk from the City's Zoning Office, and local restaurant owners Jose Goyanes and Steven Perricone. It's a shame that no one from the Grove who is actually affected by this was asked to join the committee or anyone from bicycle circles who feel that earlier bar closing times will save lives. But it's a start.
