Author Bill Shaner (left) will be signing his new book, "Unintended Consequences; Lessons From a Life Almost Lost," on Friday, February 12 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, at The Bookstore (3399 Virginia Street)."After surviving a near death experience an ordinary man was pronounced dead in a construction accident. Shaner was left a paraplegic and lost his financial, spiritual, psychological and emotional stability. Today he walks and has regained all and more.
