Weather report calls for snow

snow2
The first of three Snow Days happened on Virginia Street today. As you can see, the kids had a ball (snowballs actually, many of them).

Santa and Frosty the Snowman were on hand to meet the kids.

snow3
Santa arrived at noon via Rickshaw, the perfect Coconut Grove entrance.

snow4
The Christmas Village was up alongside a number of Christmas trees. This one village house was designed by the students at the Academy of Arts and Minds. Cooper and Garland manned the snow cone machine where everyone lined up for the free frozen treats.

snow9
Santa actually cut the ribbon on the snow area where the kiddies played for hours. Balloon animals were created for the guests and candy was handed out.

snow5
The best part of course was the snow. Florida kids love the snow.

snow6
Frosty and Santa loved the snow and the kids.

At the end, the Good Blend Quartet sang Christmas carols. Let the season begin.

If you missed the snow today, there are two more Snow Days this month. Next Sunday, December 13 at the Mayfair Promenade is the next Snow Day and then on Sunday, December 20, there is another one on Fuller Street.
