What's up with the speed bumps?

I didn't think much of it, but the new speed bumps going in around Day and Virginia are not appreciated by a lot of the neighbors. I think they are better than another traffic circle and apparently a four way stop sign does not work there.

But quite a few neighbors were away for summer vacation and came home to this.

Another case of things being done without the public being told. I know notices are supposed to go out and such, but many people didn't receive notices and neither did I. I am either getting old and missing too much news around here or people in charge just like to keep things hush hush because they don't like to deal with the repercussions before the fact and prefer to deal with it all after the fact.

I do remember the Bridgeport issue. Nothing was done there, but why is this being done on Day and Virginia?

We need changes around here. Many changes. Like a Village Council that actually puts out minutes and news to the public, so we have an idea of what is going on. I must be falling asleep when watching the meetings, because I don't remember this or the peacocks.

And it would be nice too, if our district commissioner did the same. I want to be in the loop so the Grapevine readers are in the loop. We don't like surprises and are getting tired of them.

I am requesting the minutes of Village Council and City Commission meetings, please. After every meeting, please. Thank you.
