You may have missed this, but the post office parking lot has been opening on weekends for public parking.The rate is only $1.00 per hour, same as street parking.
The post office has an agreement with the Miami Parking Authority, who is running the lot for them on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays -- just in time for this Saturday's return of the Coconut Grove Block Party.
The guys running the lot are very friendly, too.
