Two ways to give this Thanksgiving

As you know, we are still collecting money the rest of this week for the Thanksgiving Meals Outreach program here.

And if you would prefer to actually give food items, rather than money, the NET office is also collecting to put together baskets for Thanksgiving. They are looking for turkeys and the rest of the meal items like potatoes, bread, canned gravy, beans, stuffing and so on.

Many local markets are offering two for one specials, so this is a good opportunity to just pick up the extra item when you are shopping and you can donate the item you get free.

They are receiving donations at the NET office (2820 McFarlane Road) from 8 am to 5 pm, until this Wednesday, November 18, 2009.
