There will be a tree vigil tonight and maybe into the weekend to bring awareness of the trees in Coconut Grove, also to guard the trees from those who would come to harm them.Santiago Villegas of Tree Watch will be there with candles or lights of some kind, starting at dusk, that's tonight, Friday, July 22.
Stop by if you wish, it's at St. Bayshore and 27th Avenue at the location of the killed trees. Bring candles, a guitar and friends and join in the Tree Watch protection vigil.
The Coconut Grove Drum Circle will be in attendance. Listen for the drums and come over!
