New Latin Grove Cafe opens on Grand Avenue

I'm delighted to announce that Coconut Grove has a Latin take-out place again. It's called Latin Grove Cafe, it's located inside the Kiwk Stop (3133 Grand Avenue).

Here is Fabiola De Los Rios, one of the ladies who works there, they have a counter set up and make the food fresh right on the spot. There are no tables inside and right now only one outside, they may add one or two, but it's basically a take-out place.

But it's great to know we now have a place to get Latin food and coffee. They have daily lunch specials that are $7.99, with things like Grilled Chicken, Pork Fricassee on Monday, Beef with Potato and Ground Beef on Tuesday, on Wednesday there is Lasagna or Pork Chops, Thursday is Fricassee Chicken or Shredded Beef and Friday is Fish Fillet or a Ham Cheese sort of dish or Chicken in sauce. All of the above come with soup or salad.

There are Pork Sandwiches, Steak Sandwiches Cuban and Media Noche sandwiches and more. All are $5.95.

Fried Beef, Palomilla steak, Milanese steak, ground beef, garlic shrimp, fried fish and even pasta is also on the menu.

Of course there are salads and desserts like Flan and Tres Leches for $3.50. Also carrot cake, chocolate cake and rice pudding, all also for $3.50. Empanadas are$1.75 to $2.00.

A Healthy Menu consists of Turkey Sandwich or Fajitas or grilled chicken, steak or salmon. They have natural juices like orange, guava, watermelon, pineapple and papaya and more.

Breakfast consists of all the usual fare all at $4.75 for things like two eggs, ham, fries, toast and coffee. There are also tortilla omelettes for around the same price or cheaper.
