Artway66 gallery opened Saturday night with a large crowd, just like last month's soft opening. The exhibit called "Diversities" was unveiled. The gallery is on the Mayfair Promenade and simple to ease your way in and out of from the Art Stroll going on right outside along the Promenade.
There was lots of art, food, drinks and performances by Serena Stroppa, David Gilarbert and Yanelis Olbera. The Coconut Grove Ballet and the young artists from the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale performed, too.
The gallery has so much going on visually and musically that it always seems to draw a large crowd all through the night.
Ed Prelaz, manager of the Shoppes at Mayfair, left, was given an award for all his good works and in helping the gallery become a reality. He wished them long, continued success. Art Gonzalez is at right, handing Ed a piece of art (Coconut Grove's Sailboat Bay) as a gift.
The magic show by House of Flying Cards, had many volunteers who wanted to walk on glass. It was a full evening of culture and fun in the new space.
