Atena Komar has been teaching everyone to bead, it seems. The beaded flowers are popular, but jewelry is the favorite of most, and it's not just any jewelry, it Swarovsky Crystal jewelry. With the holidays coming up, more classes have been added to Atena's schedule which will allow you to learn to make jewelry as gifts.There is also a Halloween Charms Evening where you can make spooky-style things.
She has moved the classes out of the Grove to allow for a larger space, but it's not too far away, now being at 5704 Bird Road. I'm sure if there is a Grove location that would like to host classes, something can be worked out with Atena.
More evening classes have just been added to the Bead Me schedule:
October 20th - Halloween Charm Bracelet PT2 (6:00 to 9 pm)
October 27th - Seed Bead & Swarovski Crystal Ghosts (12 noon to 3 pm)
October 27th Halloween Charms Evening Class (6:00 to 9 pm)
November 3rd - Beaded Beads (12 noon to 5 pm)
November 6th - Saturday Open Beading (12 noon to 5 pm)
November 11th - Wire Wrapping with 24g wire (6:00 to 9 pm)
