It was a mad rush on Sunday for the artists to get their entries into the GroveHouse gallery by noon. It was the "Spring Madness" contest, which I had the pleasure of judging.
After the art was settled and the artists were gone, I entered the gallery and chose the first, second, third places winners and two honorable mention pieces which will be announced on Saturday, March 6, at the First Saturday Art Stroll party, which starts at 7 pm.
The GroveHouse is at the Mayfair Promenade, right next to The Improv. You can stop by daily and check out all the entries. It wasn't easy picking the winners from the whole batch of excellent pieces.
