The first fiberglass peacock arrived yesterday. He will be the center of attention at tonight's Peacock Vernissage at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery.Tonight March 12, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, the event will celebrate the Coconut Grove Peacock Tour.
Camille DePhillips, left, opened the big box and inside was a cute little, (actually big) peacock (naked and unpainted) all ready for the party. He's got a great little smile and you'll fall in love with him when you see him. There will be over 20 fiberglass peacocks around the Grove this spring, all painted and decked out as part of the tour.
