Regarding the trolley station in Village West

There's been big news about the Coral Gables trolley people building a large trolley station in Coconut Grove. It will actually be a location to house and work on the trolleys, sort of an upscale garage. In Village West, to be exact. The Village West residents are none to happy, and who can blame them.

The Herald has been all over the story.

Last week, the Coconut Grove Village Council created a resolution against the situation and now there is to be a public forum, hosted by Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, at Miami City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive), here in Coconut Grove. It is on Thursday, January 31, from 5:30 to 7 pm.

Sarnoff and other city representatives will present people to speak on the situation. Representatives from the City of Coral Gables and the private developer of the station have been invited to attend, they have not responded to the invitation yet.
