Starting tonight is "Viva Bohemia," at the Windish-Hunt Gallery, which is giving back. All local artists are invited to hang their work for the month of August without paying any commission to the gallery.
Hanging is all day today and starts tomorrow at noon to 6 pm. Bring your art. You can fit one large piece or up to six 16" x 20" pieces. You do it your way. You literally have to bring your own hammer and nails, and make your own tags. this is all hands on. Spaces are a one-time fee: $35 and $45, no jury, bring it all in.
Also, musicians, if you are looking for a place to rehearse, the Windisch-Hunt Gallery is open to that. You're invited to hang out and play every Friday and Saturday night.
