The Hare Krishna's are having their annual festival from Thursday, January 28 through Sunday, January 31. Stop by and enjoy get immersed in their culture, you'll enjoy their delicious veggie meals. There is live music, a fashion show, books, astrology and lots of vegetarian food.The temple/venue is at 3220 Virginia Street. It's free to enter.
The festival is open Thursday and Friday from 6:30 to 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 9 pm.There is a small parade on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. It starts at the temple on Virginia and Day and goes down day, to 32nd Avenue, then onto Grand Avenue, goes down McFarlane Road to S. Bayshore Drive, winds up around Mary, back to Virginia via Tigertail.
