Now you can win lobster at Mr. Moe's!
I was sitting at a meeting at Greenstreets and toward the end of the meeting, as it was wrapping up, I started checking emails on my iPhone.
I saw one email from Mr. Moe's (3131 Commodore Plaza) which had something about a "lobster machine" in the subject line. The funny thing is that John El-Masry, owner of Mr. Moe's, was sitting right next to me.
So I showed him the phone and he started cracking up. It was about their new Lobster Zone game. Adam Kutner, the promoter, shown here, sent the email. I know Adam from around the Grove and he had sent the email to invite me to come by to see the Lobster Zone.
So I did! Since the meeting had ended, a few of us went across the street to check it out.
The "Lobster Zone" is where a player can win a Maine Lobster for $2.00 (per try). In the past three weeks the machine has given out over 30 lobsters to customers that Mr. Moe's cooks and serves with two side dishes.
The machine so far seems to be a hit. It is located in the back of the bar by the pool table. Check it out. It's a lot of fun and even if it takes you a few tries to win, where else can you get a lobster at that price?
