Bait bikes; the solution to bike thefts?

Bicycle thefts aren't just a part of Grove life, it's a big problem all over the country.

At Virginia Tech they have a new way to deal with the thefts -- GPS tracking devices on decoy bikes -- bait bikes. My friend Harry Gottlieb has been asking for this in Miami for quite a long time.

Ironically at Virginia Tech, they say that no bait bikes have been stolen, but since crooks know about the program, they are wary to touch any bikes, not knowing which is the bait bike. Maybe if we just announce it here we don't have to actually do it. Let's just say we did.
