Lots of new pieces shown at Gallery Walk
It was a strange night for the Gallery Walk last night. It just had a weird feel to it. There were so many events going on all over Miami, so the Gallery Walk was a bit sparce in the way of visitors. Above is a piece by Carla Davis, called "Noises," at the Boswell Mourot Fine Art Gallery on Commodore Plaza.
This is another piece by Carla Davis.
Most of the people around the Grove were locals, many were stragglers from the SpankyFest pub crawl that was going on earlier. It was enjoyable though, to see Grovites out having a good time in their own village.
This is Tom Moynihan, a muralist and freelance painter, who showed his art at the Dharma Studio on Commodore Plaza. He had some really fine pieces, that I feel were quite underpriced. It was the perfect opportunity to grab something from an up and coming artist.
Daniel Caldwell, out of Ft. Lauderdale, had his art featured at the Hunter Gallery, at the Mayfair Atrium, that's Victoria Btesh-Tussie with Daniel.
The Drum Circle did their usual thing as is the case on every Gallery Walk night. These two guys, visiting from England, joined in the fun. The circle was at the Mayfair Atrium last night, off of Florida Avenue.
