The Delray String Quartet will be performing at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (2750 McFarlane Road) on Sunday, January 22 at 4 pm. This is the start of the eight season for the popular quartet.
From left, Tomas Cotik, Mei Mei Luo, Richard Fleischman and Claudio Jaffe will present, "Hayden, Schubert and a world premiere of Kenneth Fuchs' String Quartet No. 5, "American," composed for the Delray String Quartet.
Featured: Joseph Hayden, "Quartet in E flat major, op 64, no 6; Franz Schubert, Quartettsatz in c minor, D. 703; Kenneth Fuchs, Quartet no 5, "American" and Gershwin, Excerpts from "Porgy and Bess."
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $20 each.
