A few places in Coconut Grove will be showing all the games, two are The Grove Spot (3324 Virginia Street) and George's in the Grove (3145 Commodore Plaza).
The Grove Spot will have a running game all throughout the series. Each time you go, you'll get a sign-up sheet and predictions for each game must be turned in by half time of each game. Questions will include "First team to score," "score at half," "game MVP," etc. There will be prizes each time and on the last day of the World Cup, there will a grand prize, an EZ Notebook computer, on July 11. For all details and rules, stop by The Grove Spot.
At George's there will be t-shirts and giveaways and on June 17, there will be a live donkey for the match between France and Mexico. George is hoping that Mexico will lose and all the Mexican fans present will then have to kiss the donkey's ass. What if you are a Mexican fan and Mexico wins?
