I ran into a bunch of friends at The Bookstore yesterday. I just randomly walked in and there they were. I love that about the Grove. Here are Katherine Bruner Ridgway, Jerry Wade, AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt and Sheri Friedman.
Jerry was handing out invitations to tomorrow's Summer Salon event at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue). The beneficiary is Neat Stuff, the charity that helps children in distress. This is close to Jerry's heart, so his goal is to hand out 100 invitations in person.
Sheri, of course owns the Blu Moon Studio of Art way above 3444 Main Highway. She holds Art Happy Hour the last Friday of every month and of course there is always some art project going on there daily.
Katherine, on the other hand, is the new leasing manager at Mayfair, and she's been asking people what they would like to see there. What type of stores and restaurants do you think would fit in? What is needed or desired in the Grove?
