Is the Grove ready for the Pow Wow?

From May 16 to 20, the International Travel Pow Wow is coming to Miami. That is the international travel industry's premier conference where they decide what is what and where to send their clients.
The Grove is involved but only to a small degree. Presently on a couple of bus loads of the 5,000 visitors will be coming to the Grove on May 18. That's not very many people from this large contingent. I always feel that people in the travel industry are only in it for all the freebies they get. So let's accommodate them.

Let's get many here and really show them the Grove. I know one thing in the works is maybe having the visitors meet the Burn Notice cast at CocoWalk. Perhaps artists on the streets would be a good idea, too. Maybe Cabana One can have a party and maybe Anokha, too and I know that AnnaMaria was talking about having an art gallery reception and then the Pow Wow folks could actually move about the Grove going from one venue to another.

This is where Harry could bring in the electric cars and transport the guests to Commodore Plaza and show them the most unique street in the Grove. Maybe even Spider-man and his friends could transport people around. Maybe a trolley, a nice one, like they have in Coral Gables.

The Pow Wow should be a mixture of all the great things that the Grove is. Hopefully the guests will not just be bussed in to meet a few actors and then bussed out. That won't sell the Grove. That will sell "Burn Notice," which is actually leaving us for Louisiana. Let's sell the Grove.
