Barnacle, Books, Birds and Boats is taking place at The Barnacle on Sunday, September 9. Bring the whole family from 11 am to 3 pm as The Barnacle celebrates Adult and Family Literacy Month. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a good book to read in the shade. Kids can enjoy educational activities, games and prizes; ranger storytime; and more.

This historic home of Coconut Grove pioneer Ralph Middleton Munroe is now a Florida State Park and is located at 3485 Main Highway. Please park on the street or in one of the parking lots around town. Then, stroll into the park for a relaxing day by the Bay! Picnics are encouraged, but alcohol is not permitted. For additional information call 305-442-6866.
