South Grove resident, Francesca Violich, won the "Educator of the Year Award" at Fairchild Garden's Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Saturday, May 8. Francesca is a pre-K teacher at Hubert O. Sibley Elementary in North Miami.
The award honors "the most outstanding elementary school teacher participating in the Garden's Fairchild Challenge school competition. Under her leadership, her school has placed in the top three of all elementary schools participating.
