The Academy of Arts and Minds was the venue for a private preview of the Miami Marine Stadium Photo Exhibit featuring the latest work of photographer Jay Koenisberg on Tuesday night. Jay's photos show an abandoned, derelict, graffitied stadium, but in a beautiful, colorful manner. The streamlined architecture is enhanced in the photos.
Mayor Tomas Regalado (above left) was thanked for his efforts and assistance in preserving and restoring the Miami icon by A&M's Manny Poch. People reminisced about their experiences at Miami Marine Stadium.
Catch of the Day provided the food and Al Fresco Restaurant provided pizza, which was passed around and an open bar complimented the evening.
Jay Koenisberg was proud to explain his photography technique to the guests.
