From art to belly dancing Artway 66 has it all
One of the main centers of activity on the First Saturday Gallery Walks is Artway 66 Gallery, Johnny Valdez, owner, also puts on the Art Stroll which fills the Mayfair Promenade with art, food, music and lots of culture. Above are Josephina Nicolas, Luis Breso, and Roman Garcia.
It's a great date night activity, especially when the performers start, inside the gallery you'll see the Coconut Grove Ballet perform, along with live musicians and even belly dancing. It's all free, as are the refreshments served. 14 artists are featured this month.
Dave Weiss and Camilo Guerra stopped by to take it all in.
It's great to see so many young art lovers, who come out to enjoy what the Grove has to offer. Above are Serena and Narcisse Stroppa with Oscar Moncada, with Cher over Oscar's shoulder.
Carmen Rodriguez was one of the belly dancers who performed for the large crowd.
Before Carmen performed, the Coconut Grove Ballet did their thing.
Kelly Smith and Theresa Calluori were out and about enjoying the Gallery Walk.
The Artway66 Gallery is located across from the Improv at the Mayfair Promenade, stop in any day to see the art on display.
