Southern Blossoms sent a crew out this week to put up the Mayfair Christmas tree. It's at the atrium, near the bull.
I'm still not quite sure why we don't have a tree in the Grove, but Mayfair and CocoWalk each have one, so I guess those are the Grove trees.
The crew got the tree up fast and put the lights and decorations up, but then for some reason, the tree was left unlit. So a few of us scrambled on Saturday night to get it lit for Gallery Walk time. Monty Trainer and I looked for extension cords and then Jim Hunter managed to find one in one of the galleries and we plugged it in.
It still needs a star or some sort of topper, but it's lit now and behind it is a Menorah which has lights added for each night of Hanukkah. So the Mayfair people, like Crispen and Porter and Sony, are right in the Christmas spirit now.
