One thing that I saw that wasn't done by most galleries at the Art Basel night event on Monday, was a cross promotion for this Saturday's Gallery Walk. The Grove always seems to have trouble promoting itself when it has the opportunity staring it in the face.
I know a couple of galleries may have had flyers, but there should have been a big push to get a lot of the people back. There were lots of new faces on Monday for Art Basel night, many were locals, but most were not and many may not have known about our first Saturday Gallery Walks. This was the opportunity to promote that.
Many art lovers probably will be at South Beach and Wynwood Art Basel events this Saturday, but it was still a good opportunity to get them back for January's Gallery Walk or February's, etc.
Once we get people here, we need a bounce back, even if it's something as simple as a promotional card telling them to come back.
