Midori Gallery exhibits traditional Japanese woodblock

The Midori Gallery (3168 Commodore Plaza) is featuring traditional Japanese woodblock art from April 4 through May 2, 2009. Stop in as part of the First Saturday Art Stroll.

The Luber Collection of Antique Triptychs is an outstanding group of works on display for a month.

There is an opening reception on tonight, April 4, from 7 to 10 pm. The Honorable Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Consul General of Japan will be on hand to introduce the collection. Taiko (drums) and Shakuhachi (Bamboo flute) will be performed by the Fushu Daiko.
