As Nestor Lao looks on, Cindy Bettner and David Beales blow darts toward the target at the monthy meetup of the Coconut Grove Royal Blowgun Society.
Started in 1992, by Leonard King, the group meets the first Wednesday of each month at The Taurus. David was one of the first to play the sport with Leonard back in '92.
Nestor Lao and Forest Hinkel take turns on the back patio of the Taurus. As the cooler weather draws near, more and more people join in, there are sometimes 30 or so people playing. Feel free to stop by any first Wednesday. You don't need an invitation. The gang meets from 6 to 9 pm. We saw a lot of familiar faces enjoying the sport this past Wednesday.
