There's a lot of history at Fabulocity

antique1
The Mayfair Antiques and Collectibles Market has a new neighbor at the Mayfair Promenade. Helen and Vince have opened Fabulocity, an antique and collectibles shop across from The Improv. A friend bought the 1940s Tiffany lamp, seen on the table here for a great price. You can get lost in the store, full of lots of wonderful items.

A lot of the items have a Miami history, like the painting above (behind the mannequin) and below, both from the famous Wolfie's on Miami Beach. They were in the VIP room, we didn't know Wolfie's had a VIP room, but that's the great part about antiques and collectibles, they always have a story behind them.

Fabulocity is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11 am to 8 pm. An old Wurlitzer is arriving in a couple of weeks and there is talk of a monthly auction, which would be a cool lively thing for the area.
