SoFlo, a new skateboard, bike and sneaker shop is opening in the old Basil location, 3301 Grand Avenue.They should be open by the end of the week, they are waiting for occupational licenses and such.
That's Chris in the center, with his crew, they're a nice group of friends who are trying something new. We wish them the best of luck.
They were asking about the Bed Race, they may enter a bed.
And ironically, Chris asked about the King Mango Strut. Last year I had an idea of getting a bunch of skateboarders to be a long "grapevine," winding up and down the parade route, mocking all the people who frown on their presense. Now I know where to get my "cast" for this year's strut.
